Here's a commission for Werikane , who requested her Worgen lady and her favourite mount Ji-Kun in action.
Took 14 hours.

Really like the juxtaposition between the cold light from above and all the warm colours of the mount.

Could I be cheeky and ask: Do you have a special technique for painting metal or is it more of a 'this feels right' kind of thing?

Well, I actually don't have a technique which is different from the way I paint anything else. I start with blocking in and blending base colours, then work with texture brushes (depending on how that metal should look like - rusty, scratched, or smooth...) using several colour modes, pay attention to colours all around the metal areas which reflect on its surface and blend those in too, and then finish with soft-edged highlights, again using various colour modes. I hope this helps. ^^

Ah, WoW lebt immernoch. Das ist wirklich nicht klein zu kriegen. XD
Habs sofort gemerkt an der bunten Rüstung. Schönes Bild in jedem Fall, die Glow-Effekte sind dir echt gut gelungen, nicht zu stark und dominierend, aber doch kräftig.
Sehr schön finde ich auch den Rock mit dem Federmuster und wie du die Weiblichkeit herausgestellt hast, ohne dicke Beulen am Oberkörper.
Auch die Szenerie und der Worg wissen zu gefallen.
Alles in allem durchweg schick!

Das Kostüm und die Lokation waren alle vorgegeben und da habe ich mich als Detailfanatiker richtig amüsieren können. Heh, wohl war, die Vorlage hat ein Paar epische Möppies, die mussten jawohl adäquat umgesetzt werden.
