New character! He's really fun to draw~ x3 I'm not really sure if I'm sticking with these colors and the name yet, that's what came to me the time I sketched him. :>
ugh why does my scanner make all my sketches look a lot messier than what they actually are. :I

I've been looking through your gallery all night and i've fallen helplessly in love with your artwork! You are absolutely incredible, i can't believe your 18! Im only 15 and i've always wanted to be involved with animation and character design its such a huge dream of mine! Do you have any tips on how i could start off?? Say what programs or sort of tablets to use? It would be such a big help!

The programs I use are adobe Photoshop Elements 7 and Paint Tool Sai with a Bamboo tablet pen. ^^
As for some art tips, I'd say to practice every day if you can, and don't be afraid to try new things; it's when you do this that you begin to improve. C: Also, you can pull inspiration from other artists, but I suggest that you do most of your studying from photographs. This way, you won't copy another artist's mistakes (because we all make them) and you will be able to develop your own unique style.

I highly suggest that you keep the color scheme the same for this dragon! It looks so amazing! The colors compliment the character design and hints towards a possible attitude and personality that this character may possess! Excellent job!
