My first leather working project, and first post in a very long time. It's a fully carved, painted leather corset. Poor quality cell phone picture. Possibly a better quality one to come.Related content

Very nice work. Especially if it is your first leather working project. It looks like you used 8oz to 9oz vegetable tanned leather? It "almost" looks like you riveted brass sheet and gears on top of the hide rather than carving them, or even a combination of the two. I can't really tell due to the cell phone picture. I also love the unique use of the leather purse hardware. Anyways great job and keep it up. Boston is a great city for aspiring artists.
