The "Unicorn" of Golden Gate Canyon

First sighted during the gold rush in Golden Gate Canyon, CO. Existence is heavily debated, partly because the legends of its sightings started from frazzled miners who spent too much time down in the mines. However, some people driving the mountain roads of Golden Gate Canyon at night have reported strange movement of the trees, some even reporting to have sighted an unusually lithe horse watching them from the trees beside the road.

Legend has it that the creature was unearthed by the excessive digging for gold in the area.

The Unicorn is part horse, part man, part tree. It is called the Unicorn because some drivers at night have mistaken its empty neck for a horn.

It should be noted that if you think you see a horse on the side of the road in this area, do NOT, for any reason, stop the car.
