Fallen (poem by me)

I know you are
but the stars have stopped writing your name
trailing the sky the stardust leaves traces on my eyelids
the night is so shiny, you said
I remember you said it would get so very, very cold
I know you are out there
spelling your name backwards and restarting your memory
every time your eyelids grow heavy and you rest your dreams
on somebody else´s arms
and out here
the trees are crying silently, just like a whisper
spoken by soft, but dry lips
it´s the ancient song of the forgiven, forgotten and
those fallen
