Yeah, I think that too sometimes. I like some modern conveniences, like the internet and medical advancements, but I hate a lot of other things. I would be pleased if all us fellows still had to wear suits every day and that certain things were a little simpler. If I told you that I wear a nightshirt, would you believe me?

if i could have long flowing locks, and wear flowers in my hair, be allowed to roam the fields in a simple dress, i think i'd be the happiest person alive.

Well, it's true! It's a little embarrassing, but I find them really comfortable and nice. I also have a nightcap!
You can probably do all those things, at least here in the US. I'm going to be moving onto about 9 acres (about 35,000 square meters) in Maine later this year. Land is plentiful here, and you can do almost whatever you want if it's your property!

Yeah, Maine is pretty nice. It's a lot different than New Zealand, though! Is that where you're from originally? I'd love to see Alaska and the northern lights. Are you in Missouri for college? I don't like the city either, but I don't mind to visit for just a day or two! I love being out in country where you don't have a mass of people controlling everything you do and where you can see beautiful things just by looking out the window. Did you live in a rural area in your homeland?

hahaha. yes sir, i am farm born and bred. grew up birthing cows, milking, raising sheep and goats and riding horses. i moved to the states six months ago! and i'm not in college or anything yet, though i hope to be soon. i just don't know what to take haha.

Oh, that's awesome! I'd love to have that experience. I want to have a small farm, but only with chickens and goats, because I'm going to stop eating all meat, including fish. Did you have the sheep for wool? Wool is a big export from New Zealand, isn't it?
I'm just curious, and feel free to not answer, but what made you decide to move here? Do you like it? It makes me very happy to see foreigners enjoying the country.

so chickens for eggs right, and goats? for milk? i'm not sure what else a goat has to offer other than meat and milk and it's hide haha.
and yes, we shore the sheep for their wool. there's a lot of sheep in new zealand hahaha.

Yup, the goats are for milk! I like goat milk products, especially cheddar. I'm curious about goat yogurt, but I have a feeling I might be disappointed.

I can't say anything about college, because I have never gone and I never intend to. I think your husband is right about there not being much money in college art classes. Still, I think it is important to do what you like, as long as you can. Please don't take that to mean that I have any idea about your situation or anything like that. I was just making a general statement.

Yes, I've had sheep cheese, but I didn't really like it! It might have just been the brand, but it was a little to acidic for me. I love feta, though! I like most types of cheese really. Do you like a lot of cheeses?

and yes it does mean aged, maybe vintage is a kiwi term for cheese.

i love apple pie, but never heard of it being eaten with cheddar. i don't think i could even try it, i don't like certain foods touching each other unless they're meant to.
