NO NO I think you are on to something.
Like.
I think I subconsciously have certain features I use when I draw Tanya. Her face isn't as cartoony but she is still kind of cheeky. Her nose is rounded, a little squished, and her upper lip doesn't have a bend in. I don't have much for her eyes except she has long, full lashed (like the rest of animated 2-D ladies) They look most Tanya-ish when they are kind of big. Granted, I don't really emphasis these too much, but in the end I think it turns out okay. Oh, and she always wears her heart-padlock necklace. Always. (Though I almost forgot it here. It's been too long, dearest Tanya!)
And thanks! I am pretty pleased with the textures, and I'm surprised how easily the colours matched up. It's just one giant coffee texture WHICH IS BAD TO DO but the white offsets everything, so I think I'm good on there, too.
(Baw, I just suck with boobs. I'm just going to make *Padoras-Locket draw Tanya forever because she knows how to draw girls packing. I wish mine were bigger and I still don't draw Tanya's right. But they really should be big and round. I just can't draw that :/)

That's really cool cause it can make you see how she'd look in the flesh, you know? : D Some of my characters I always see like real people, when I think of them in my head (specifically Zach and Mel, they are my obsession) though I'm not sure I could quite draw them, exactly, even if I was great at realism. (then I have to draw then and go for the cliche hot bishie and innocent looking girl XD but I've had people tell me they can imagine Zach as a real person, and that was WHOA <3 )
(To me they look big and round o.o Or at least average-big sized. Hmm.. I'm not a big fan of the huge breasts, thin waist thing (makes me think Pamela Anderson). Actually huge boobs creep me out a bit ><; With chubby/curvier women, I think it looks more natural (but huge still scares me). BACK PAINS. And I think it just looks awkward and artificial. Natural breasts are way sexier for me. Both from a woman's point of view and someone who can be attracted to a female point of view. Not saying I have anything against characters with big boobs of course.)

Yeaaaaah I've been looking for some IRL models for Tanya and Ethan (and Duke but lol he's not mine sooo) but it is really hard to find a Tanya. I might eventually just make a franken-picture of all those features and then do a paint over of those to make a brand new Tanya. To be honest whenever I see the singer Rhianna I think of Tanya. Because I imagined Tanya with exotic features, and Rhianna has pretty exotic features. I don't think Tanya has her forehead but I do she has Rhi's nose. (Maybe, but it's been a while since I've seen a picture of her so IDK |D )
((Oh ha ha well thats good then! For me. Okay, and I know this is weird, but the pornstar chick Veronica Z-something or other has these massive fat sacs, and I can imagine Tanya just a bit smaller than her. But yeah, Pamela's are like WHOA YOU ARE SCARY, I agree. Actually, her cup size was a big deal with Tanya when I was first making her. I wanted her to be natural but sexy still. I figured its not like every massive chest is fake. (ha ha my cousin would know). GRANTED it ups Tanyas chances of becoming more "Mary sue" but eh. ))

Oh Rhianna is SO cute and pretty and sexy (and her haircuts <3333333333). That is when wearing make up, cause gorgeous artists without make up tend to be a turn off >_>;
I can't really settle on a real-life look for Carol even with that realistic portrait. Hm.
But Mel, one of my earliest characters, I can see so clearly in my head but she's so perfect in her own way that I just know no-one like her exists. She came to me when I was thinking up the perfect girl, but discreet, and normal and sweet-shy smiles, nothing too big or too smal on her body, just the right size, and not easily noticed, but at the same time could be a model (walking cliche uh). Maybe one day I'll try those celebrity morph programs and play around with that XD
(*looks her up* Those remind me of Mariah Carey boobs a bit, though they look a liiitle bit too perfect to me in some shots. I like MC's boobs. They do look naturaly big even if she did or didn't have a boob job, not exagerated or awkward. And sure she made me go "whu? O_O her boobs are gonna fall out of her top" whenever she showed up at some Award to sing in small bra-less tops. But they have -weight- and they fit the rest of her curvy body. A slightly bigger girl with beautiful boobs to me is Kat Dennings, she's not thin, though I don't think she's fat -her breats look perfect on her. But for the average-build body type Mariah is a nice example for big boobs(in my opinion of course).
I think, just throwing a suggestion here, that if you show gravity affects them a bit, instead of drawing basketballs for breasts that start just below the neckline (no offense to artists like Padora's-Locket -whose art is so pretty- a lot of people go for that kind of look and it's very popular), you can safely draw the big-breasted girl-type with no similarity to any Mary-Sue.)

But it's pretty nice to have an idea in mind though. It makes them more loveable (IMO)
(Ha! I never noticed how endowed Carey is! Wowza. Kat Dennings is also really nice build. I often try to think of the whole gravity but then I go and put Tanya in push up bras and cover her boobs so it defeats the purpose! Maybe one day I will finally have the opportunity to finalize a cup size for the damn girl. I often think of them as water balloons, or zip-bags of water. Ha ha sometimes in my skeleton-pre-sketches I just draw water drop kind of things there on the chest)

(Oh, almost a month late reply but thought I should add: FABRIC. IT'S ALL IN THE FABRIC. Lol, no but when the fabric of whatever is covering the boobs is well done, creases and all, you know, how clothes work etc, it can be so difficult to do. But what I was saying is it helps a lot to make it look realistic (in the sense of not-anti-gravity, etc)

Ha ha I'm glad! I panicked on her outfit, and googled something like "sexy outfit". This SUPER sultry nurse outfit came up, so I pretty much copied that.
And hoho I actually kind of messed up on her theoretical spine. It's too leaning. If we were to get technical, she would be hunched over (for the pose) but dammnit. I wanted to draw her curves. O<
