I call this my messy painting, where I just cross hatch the colour values and tones and then use the water tool on Sai to muck the colours all up together. I really like her clavicle/neck area, but the dress haunts me.
(oh, ha ha whoops. Tanya has darker skin and rounder eyes, I guess, but I didn't use a whole lot of defining facial features in this one

I like Sai a lot. Since I have a stupid Bamboo tablet the pressure sensitivity doesn't work for me though, which is such a shame and breaks my heart so so much. It runs pretty swiftly.

Ha ha, tis Sandra indeed. I purposefully looked for a pic to colour pick off of that would have green stand out. Luckily there were noodles for her skin, shrimp and lemons for her dress, green peppers for her eyes, chopsticks for her lips, and what looked like soy sauce for her hair.

Ha ha n-not really actually :'D. I wanted to experiment with colour by colour picking off of a photo with really bright dynamic colours in it. I used this one: [link] I looked for green. I actually forgot about skin tone, tbh. I got lucky. I like the idea, but I wasn't ballsy enough for personal preference, so I'll probably do this technique again.
