Uh Happy holidays guys. I do so disike rainbows. There were so many more people I wanted to draw for, but since I left the tablet pen and all I had to settle for something of lesser maintenance and settle for fewer gifts.This originally was just Duke but then I was like, fuck it, I'll do all my Christmas gifts this way. Also SORRY KIPPY Mel was originally the blue but I had to sacrifice her to green so I can continue with the hair=background thing. And sorry Krio, I know your were's pupils are so much more like animals. ARTISTIC LIBERTIES WERE HAD.
ALSO I don't know about you guys, but I don't like when people give you gifts that include their own oc in it. It always felt cheap to me, like they need to add their own OC or else it wouldn't interest them at all. It just always felt so selfish to call that off as a gift. What about you guys?

Baw, it's okay. A lot of the time I will look at something and already erase it from my messages and forget to comment before clicking away, and then forget to comment on it ever since. But anyway, textures help a lot , especially with Duke. The concrete gave a nice gradient to his box, and it made it look like fire, adding more intensity.

TBH I was going to go Sluts but it felt almost unfair drawing two OCs as opposed to everyone else's one.

I love the color themes, they somehow fit the characters' personalities well and, ooh, the textures!

YOU KNOW I totally agree with that personality thing. I didn't mean to, but the green and blue feel so much more intense than the others, and even though the yellow and orange are also these super saturated colours, somehow they seem tamer. The green mermaid is just like, EXCITEMENT.

And about your oc gift concern, I guess it really depends. Like I wouldn't feel too bad if I gifted you Tanya with a Duke somewhere in there as long as your girl was the main focus you know? Since those two are kinda like all up on each other. I think of it more of a what's the relationship between my oc with the gift and whether or not it's truly important.

Yeah, I understand this point too. I mean, a Tanya with a Duke is always better than a solo Tanya, in my opinion. But I guess if hypothetically were to "Gift" me a picture of one of my newer OCs chatting with, like, Datu, then I'd be so very confused and all, wut. It just doesn't feel like a gift that way.

Yaaay, you are so very welome! And Aiya and Duke always look badass. TRUE STORY. It's in their design~ Rose came out way prettier than I expected, tbh. So calm and collected. AAAND I would have drawn Tam but I wanted to draw characters that you giftees wouldn't expect me to draw. I guess I thought Tam was too obvious? IN THE END THOUGH, I chose popular characters

Hurrr it was a long shot; I knew I wanted to draw Duke like this and it just blew up. I was going to draw someone else, I think Dianne, but then I was like ROSE IS ORANGE and then I got my rainbow going. Merry Christmassss

Aiyanna, Rose, and Duke are my favs. Rose took me the longest, because I kept thinking she had curly hair when really, I think it's just wavy. So at first she had these tight curls that I had to redraw over and over again. ):
