Description Just another artwork featuring predatory "snotties" in an alien sea. You'd think it would be safe to swim in such warm inviting waters here, but NOOOOO. The large amoebic forms detect vibrations through the water above and rise to the occasion / opportunity. Their slimy sleek & sensual pseudopodia enclose your legs and torso, before becoming denser and more binding. Down under the surface a short distance you go afterward, where you are all enclosed. You instinctively struggle a bit and think you are free, only to find yourself trapped in a thin strong bubble that continues to be taken down by the amorphous forms. Before the uncanny creatures take these victims to the bottom, they will be drowned for nourishment in the flexible bubble prisons (vacuoles).

Thanks. No doubt, there is very interesting biology on planets out amongst the stars -- where humans do NOT rule the biosphere(s).
