Yeah, but Iβll only watch it if Anne is hosting. That show needs her. NBC tried it with someone else and it was awful!

To us, that and one other episode were really the only good episodes of the US version. I really feel that NBC was more controlling of her image than the BBC was and didn't give her any creative freedom with her persona. The show needed her to be witty as well as terrifying, and NBC failed to recognize this, which is one of several reasons why it only lasted two years despite a strong beginning (Anne was named one of the breakthrough stars of 2001 by People magazine and was parodied on Saturday Night Live).

Yeah. And her reaction to the SNL parody was much better than Trump's. She loved it! She even said to Jon Stewart that she began to say the "goodbye" part in a similar fashion to Rachel Dratch, the actress who played her.

If the 2018 reboot does happen, I'll have to commission a newer version of this drawing with her current appearance. Of course, we'll keep this version up to represent the original programme.

If it does, I'll only have a short time to watch it since YouTube is very strict about copyrighted videos.
Anyway, have you seen it? I saw that it was trending on Twitter in the U.K.

Don't judge a book by its cover! Β Weakest Link was actually very good. You would just need the right sense of humor to understand Anne's acerbic, sarcastic comments.
To be honest, the only rip-off was the syndicated US version that had George Gray as host. To me, Anne Robinson is the only genuine host.
