This is a piece I was asked to do of Jessica Rabbit from 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit.It's hard to believe that movie will be 30 years old this year.

I know right, slut-shaming is one of the worst forms of sexism. Just because she's attractive and sexual doesn't she isn't a good role model for young girls, she's smart, talented and cared for roger more than any other man. We need a official Disney princess who's attractive, feminine/girly and also really intelligent who's also confident with her sexuality. One non-Disney live action example will be Elle Woods from Legally Blonde, she's girly and attractive but that didn't stop her from being smart and taken seriously.

Even if her being a gold digging bitch would've been more believable, I'm glad they changed things up from the original novel. It's a lot funnier to have someone like her legit in love with a goofy rabbit.

Oh me too. I still quote it to this day. There's some test footage floating around YouTube of an earlier version of the movie that was never completed. Peter Renaday, the original voice of Master Splinter, was set to play Eddie Valiant with Paul Reubens voicing Roger. It's a surreal thing to watch.
