As you can read from the title, this is Audrey Haupe, the newest and the only maid in Lockhart's severely under-staffed mansion. She is also the main character, and it's through her point of view we see the story unfold.

Audrey went to a maid school before she worked for Lockhart and has always seemed very promising in the work field. At first it looked like she was very lucky for getting hired by him, but she soon discovers there are many dark secrets lurking within the walls of the mansion.

Audrey is a humble and sweet young lady who goes out of her way to make a good impression and do a great job, and together with the other few staff-members, helps to keep her master down to Earth.
