Tried to draw Melanie in one of these outfits lumi-night.tumblr.com/post/160…I like these clothes
Kinda wanna draw the rest of them ^^I'm debating whether or not I should let Christianity be damaging towards vampires in the universe I'm currently making. I mean, Melanie has already crosses on her original dress so... Perhaps it can be a symbol that is very unpopular for vampires to wear/use? Or maybe the charms itself have to be blessed by a priest/bishop in order for it to be effective against vampires? Maybe both? I dunno

Personally, I don't think Christian symbols should be harmful to vampires. Unless they specifically work for demons. Also, what about Buddhist symbols?

I noticed vampire lore was very different from franchise to franchise, so in the end I just assembled my own I was satisfied with. This piece is pretty old, and in the time between here and now, I've decided that religious symbols and artifacts doesn't have any effects on vampires unless it's blessed/enchanted in a way to harm them.

The blessing route would make sense, and as for wearing them; Her adoptive family could've been close to or had actual ties to the clergy, which could offer an explanation for the crosses. I'm sure most vampires wouldn't like that though, for obvious reasons

Når det kommer til korset, så høres begge forklaringene dine bra ut. Jeg vet ikke, kanskje hun må se korset for at det skal skade henne eller at vampyrer kanskje kan venne seg til nærværet av korset over tid, eller noe, idk.
