Made this one at lunch today, 'cuz I've been thinking about him lately. Good ol' Ironhide. So loyal that if you're Optimus Prime and Megatron's shooting at you, he'll jump right into the line of fire to save your sorry behind and die happy.Well, that and he doesn't cheat on Chromia.
Don't ask me what's up with all the blue, because I really don't know. It just...looked good to me. Far better than the light and dark seafoam that I messed with at first. I guess in the end I'm in a blue mood, since I'm wearing head-to-toe blue today...

That's a big gun! I love 'hide. Anyone voiced by Peter Cullen is OK by me, and I love him fer himself, too. Excellent word choice.

Heh. Yeah, I wanted his gun in the pic. It limited my options a bit, but this image worked pretty well. Ironhide's fun. 'Specially when he goes all, "Aw, shucks, ma'am."

He does, doesn't he? It's a shame that he tends to get lost in the shuffle of more...er, charismatic (Read: Louder and more obnoxious) Autobots.

Perfect word for him, all things considered! And yes, we love Ironhide and his gruff rough-around-the-edges personality, as well as his undying loyalty to the Autobot cause and to Optimus Prime.

I didn't do much to foster the idea: just kind of...fed it some growth hormones and let it do the rest. And you'll have lots of fun with it, I'm sure.

Only gripe (and this may be my monitor) is that the "Y" is kind of hard to see against Ironhide's red. Otherwise, I think the blue looks great.

Yeah, it is a bit hard to see the "y." But I didn't want to squish the letters any closer together, so it was either lose the "y" on the end or the "l" in the beginning. Figured the former would be better. Could've made it a bit darker, though...although that might not have really helped. In any case, I'm OK with how it turned out. I think the brain can fill in the gaps. Except in my case, for I have no brain left after crunching numbers and making budgets adjustments all day at work.

Oh, and I'm a-gonna start trying to color that pic of yours tonight, if I don't fall asleep here. Just...don't expect miracles.
