Aranea rolled her eyes. "I'll just follow your orders," she said. "I don't want to go that deep into the technical underground of Insomnia."
"Understandable," Leonis chuckled and opened the last door on the floor. It was a wide, open room with glass windows down to the floor and nearly no furniture but a huge piano in the center. "It's still here."
"And it looks as if nobody dared to touch it, just like with the rest of the things," Ignis replied and walked towards the black piano that was glittering in the light despite the layer of dust on it. Carefully Ignis ran his gloved hands over the polished wood, leaving traces in the dust.
"When was the last time you played a piano?" Cor asked the blind warrior and his voice was soft. Just like all the things in Nocts room, this piano was a memento of a life that they had lost and would never get back.
Ignis sighed. "A week before we left for the wedding," he replied, while opening the lid that had protected the keys from the dust. "And after that I never had the chance again. It feels like an eternity."
"Do you think you could still play?" Aranea asked, while she walked up to the piano.
"I should I guess," Scientia replied slowly and pulled the black leather gloves from his fingers while sitting down on the long bench that belonged to the piano. For a few moments he just sat there, his fingers on the black and white keys, breathing in and breathing out. The seconds passed them by and then Ignis started to play. Slow at first, with some sounds being slightly off, but then he had found his old rhythm again and Cor just smiled when he heard the familiar melodies and tunes echo through the room and into the long hallway. And for a few moments the marshal was back in the times from ten years ago, when things seemed to be so much easier and when Insomnia had been safe underneath the magical wall of the lucian kings. Cor watched Ignis play, the scar on the left side of his face a harsh contrast to his nearly undamaged right and the marshal could not help but remember the moment, he had seen Ignis the first time after everything had went down the drain...

I know that the idea with Ignis and the piano has already been done a few times in various ways, it's just that I have a faible for that instrument (already forced Cloud onto one), so I just couldn't help myself. I hope nobody feels offended by this. The snippet is a part of a bigger story I'm working on since a while and I decided to use it as explanation for the picture above.

Sidenote: Due to some events in the past, we have decided these models are not going to be released. If you want to leave a comment regarding my picture, feel free to do so (and thanks in advance) but please don't ask me nor the kind soul who ported them for a download.
