過去を覚えて、未来を創造する – "Remember your past, create your future".
Childhood is the most magical time of our life. Then you become adult. Every evening you come home after work, switch on the Television and prepare the dinner. However, once you may see the cartoon of your childhood that makes you feel nostalgia. When you see how cartoons change and develop, you realize that the progress never stop. Next generation may see the same movies and cartoons that you saw when you were a kid. They may also see a new version. It is cool to see a new version with your young brothers and sisters or nephews and nieces. That was my inspiration to draw Master Splinter and write this quote in Japanese. Everything new has its origin from the past. Not only cartoons and movies, absolutely everything has progress. We also have progress, we become wiser, smarter, stronger. Development and self-improvement is very good, but there is an opposite side. Very bad, when the person degrades, or progress is distributive.

Let us move to the artwork.   When I was small I loved Master Splinter from movie TMNT-1990,1992,1993. This movie is a masterpiece and I love it much more than the new one. I also liked the cartoons filmed in 2003 and 2007. Since I become adult I have not seen any cartoons or movies… but one week ago.. My nephews were watching TV and they asked me to watch a new cartoon with them. Oh My God! I am fond of this Splinter soooo muuuuch! So wise, smart and with sarcastic kind of humor.

I am glad I have drawn him. Moreover, my nephews liked my art so much. The original size is A4. I used watercolor pencils and white gel pen.
