It's incredible how you caught the texture of the sand and every single fizz of those waves. Did you add the lighting effect? Because that's a very nice touch. This goes up there with my favorite photos ever!

Ohh this one took some special editing techniques.. well, just because I tried some new things with it. Definitely some lighting edits using curve. Curve is my number one most used ps tool, hands down. Anyhow, thank you very much! It's great to know you enjoyed this one so much.

Mm m, eye candy I say. The waves look like they were painted, very nice. The whole photo is very calming, with it's peaceful colors and serene scenery.

what the heck am I saying...of course this was "colored" digitally... a negative has inverted colors anyway so inverting them on the computer is necessary. Geez, sorry for that

There is always a certain thrill in watching the waves wash ashore and lying just close enough to them to see if the next swash will actually be able to reach you. And here you've captured, among many other things, the game of tag Man has been playing with the ocean since goodness knows when.

Thanks! Well since up until several weeks ago I did not actually own a camera, no, I haven't. Plus I am not really interested in shooting in the water yet. I'm not much of an ocean person anyhow. I'd rather invest into a telephoto lens to capture the action rather then housing.
