... Thanks a lot . Thanks to you, I'm interested in the Yume Nikki series, despite the fact it scares the hell out of me! THANKS A LOT!
LOL, Just Kidding, it's all good ^^... But the game does disturb me to a certain extent.
I wanted to draw fanart of a certain NPC from Yume 2kki sooo badly. Because I rarely saw any art of this character, which struck me as odd. Because it's rather unique and it even gives you an effect... though I must admit aside from that there isn't much else...
Unfortunately my drawing came out terribly in my opinion. XD Mostly because the background looks weird.
I meant to draw the character and some of the things you see in the area he can be found at...
Ah well. I tried my best and I worked pretty dang hard on that tree. I at least hope you guys like it.
As for the NPC, I think he may actually have a name...

UPDATE: I altered/Enhanced the coloring a bit so it looks a little less... Yellow. YAY PHOTOSHOP!

According to one of my friends. This guy reacts to the Maiko (Some People call it "Geisha" too) Effect.
I wish I could see what it does. I bet it's cute x3.

There is very little art of the little guy, it's a shame. I'll think about drawing him too when I get the YN jazz on~ 
It's a great picture, and the background too - it actually feels like it's IN the game... if that makes any sense, which it probably doesn't. xD; but it suits that barren kinda look to it, so it fits the picture perfectly.

Well It's a fan sequal. I believe the creator was trying to put extra effort in it to make it a bigger place to explore and even CREEPIER than the original.

I've never been able to play it because the software doesn't function correctly on my computer. So to suffice I use Youtube videos... In a way you could say I've beaten the first game, since it's all spoiled for me.
As for Yume 2kki. I think it doesn't have an ending yet because it's still being worked.
(Also good call. The game is quite scary... though it's more like a piece of Abstract Art than a game. Why? It evokes feelings that you don't normally get from a game. Rather, the kind you get from a piece of artwork.)

I started to watch the walkthrough but when a figure appeared behind the girl I freaked out and didn't watch the rest. I heard she commited suicide at the end but that's just what I heard.

Reason why: If you use the maiko (Meiko?) effect on him, he'll turn around playing a little sound effect.
I dunno what for, but I bet it's like the game's way of making a 'blush' effect for that certain NPC.
