LOL remember how I said I was gonna do a drabble for this?
yeah, well, I kinda forgot what I was going to write

lmfao i think those drabbles really come like, right after I draw it, so if i wait a day, it's gonna expire D: that sucks.

anyways, since I uploaded this WP as a separate image (and i've got your undivided attention once again! harharhar), I'll talk more about the "symbolism" that I've put into the image.

Daffodils - Chivalry, Devotion, Unrequited love. I think this encompasses Tifa completely. you should know by her character that she's one tough woman, optimistic and determined in whatever she's doing. To whom or what her 'devotion' is directed is up to your own interpretation. I think the theme of unrequited love speaks for itself.

Dahlia - Elegance, Instability, Betrayal. Why do I refer to Axel as "elegant"? Elegance refers to tasteful, refined, and almost effortlessly effective appearance and behavior. However, elegance is a rather superficial trait, which is often a huge aspect of deceit. His instability refers to the overall feeling that he elicits in the image--his unmoving stance, and yet an unsettling feeling that he may leave at any time. I think the aspect of betrayal is pretty clear.

Roses (red) - love, passion, and desire. I said to notice how Axel was holding the bouquet--to me, holding a bouquet of flowers towards the ground symbolizes death (you know, when flowers wilt, they tilt towards the ground) indifference, carelessness, and heartlessness. If you look closely, Axel's actually stepping on one of the petals, effecting his disinterest in whether or not the flowers are healthy.

Axel's pose - He's standing with his back to Tifa, effecting a feeling of apathy, and a sense that he doesn't want to or can't look at Tifa straight in the eye. His hand on her knee is not only representative of a sexual or intimate relationship, but also as a sign of dominance.

Tifa's pose - lmfao this one, i'll have to apologize for. I know that this is COMPLETELY out of character for Tifa--no way in hell would she ever crawl all over a man like this, but I had to do it to bring out a feeling of desperation. This refers back to the sense of "unrequited love". It's like laying out her soul on the line. Her light scraping of nails on Axel's face is representative of Tifa's strength, and assuming she's forcefully turning Axel's face towards her, it's an opposing force to Axel's stance, facing away from her--she wants to look him in the eye.

The Chair - I included a chair because personally, when I think "chair", I think of "waiting". Because people tend to sit down when they're waiting, right? This is how I see it. Tifa's stance out of the chair may represent her leave from waiting for whatever she was waiting for, but having her heel clinging onto the bar of the chair could also mean she's still tied back with the past.

Axel's ring - just a little easter egg, 'cause you know I love adding tiny little details like that XD but is completely open for interpretation as well

Cloud's coat - Haha, seriously, this is completely open for your own interpretation.
