First Step:

Do a good Priming for Hair, Skin and so on. ( mine is even not perfect but well about this could you discuss with me)

Then you put on some creepy, strange dots in the hair, it'll be some dark parts of the hair.
Its necessary, if you don't do them you'll gonna mess up the picture some kind.

Put it on middle brush size and multiplication ( just work with Photoshop and The Gimp , even like I know. )
Choose the intensity you like ( in the picture there )

Step two:

Do stripes in the hair!
These show you the darker parts of the hair!
Choose a low intensity.

Step three:

Use the ? Wiping finger tool and wipe the hair like this you see, but its your choice how you use to do wipe it.

Then put some brighter dots on the hair and wipe then too. Best way in both directions!

Last step:

Work with your feeling!

If you feel like your hair needs some more color or Highlights then put it on! Use to play with your options and move them that way you like it.
