I wonder what he's looking at... The picture looks dark and depressing at first glance, but somehow, it seems so at peace. The picture has a dream like atmosphere to it, I love it Congrats on the DD

I can't say much

Well they say a picture is worth a thousand words, I guess there a thousand feelings too, because I'm not sure what to feel and when, but a smile should do!

lol a smile is good and you always feel something, its just that at times its harder to express it or put it into words

For some reason, it look's sad- yet I wonder if that person is looking over the mountain, taking in the beautiful landscape... relaxing....

NikBrickk In reply to HonnuArt [2012-02-06 05:13:05 +0000 UTC]

exactly you hit the nail on the head miss, there are many different ways to view something and many different interpretations.I believe this is why you can get so many reactions from the same thing. you pointed out that it looks sad but as you also said Its a beautiful landscape its all up to how the viewer interprets it example: it could look sad because you have one solitary figure all alone on a steep mountain side which could be a very sad feeling all alone up there. and then questions start poping into your head; why is he there? whats he doing so close to the edge? is he waiting for someone? does this place have some sort of significant to him personally? but there is also the nature aspect and landscape like you were saying. He could be there to get away from everything and just relax, or maby just to take in the sights, smells and sounds. perhaps for meditation. the list goes on and on but yes more then one emotion or feeling is never unusual your a smart cookie

Whoooaaa, very trippy. Definitely minimalistic, as you described, but it also definitely gets the point across. I almost immediately got a feel for the image, and only once my conscious analysis kicked in did it start to confuse me; this piece immediately gave me an impression of the scene, and I only got confused when I started to think about the piece, but even that passed. Very simple, but also incredibly complex and just extremely well-done.

I'd go for a cream-colored version of the shirt if I were you, the version in the link contrasts too much with the shirt color and the size of the design (i.e. if it were a cream or beige colored background it would feel more open than the dark grey shirt color, which makes the design feel small). When you actually print the shirt this becomes even more apparent, so choosing a color that will blend with your design is crucial. And 3 hours isn't slow.

thank you for the feedback ya i kinda noticed that. I was going to put it on a beige shirt but they didnt have a temp with a guys model in beige so i tryed to get by with a gey but ya your right lol i should just go with the beige shirt... thanks again

No problem. There are plenty of templates around, let me see if I can find my handy-dandy link: [link] I know of a few more templates that have been created since then as well. I'm not sure how Threadless likes their submissions though. Amazing design overall, I keep coming back to it.
