~arches a brow~ That is an IMVU avatar. I have that skin and that blindfold. I always tend to question when people take a snapshot of an avatar and then copyright it as their own. Shouldn't credit go to those Devs that created the items that made the image even possible? Just a thought.

Yeah it's an IMVU avatar, obviously. Did you think it was supposed to be a secret? I usually say as much in the description. Regardless, no: I haven't put the names of the creators of every item and pose in the description. On the other hand, I did purchase the materials so technically they belong to me.
I have a question: do you think people who photograph their BJD's should always credit the websites where they bought the doll's body, wigs, clothes, eyes, etc.? After all, in most situations they didn't create the doll's wig or eyes, but instead purchased the materials from a BJD website.
Is it a copyright infringement for them to photograph their dolls, made up of items created by someone else, and claim it as their own doll? For me, the same idea applies here: I didn't make the blindfold anymore than most BJD photographers make their doll's clothing. But in either situation I would say the finished project--even though made up of materials created by other artists--belongs to the one who purchased the materials and put them together into a composition
