This is just a tarted-up pencil sketch I did last night, inspired by the BBC TV series 'Life on Mars', which is flippin' ace. [link]
From left to right (skipping the Ford Cortina, as much as I'd love it to be mine, LOL
) - DI Sam Tyler, WPC Annie Cartwright and DCI Gene Hunt. 
Bear in mind that most of the retro goodness you see in Life on Mars was very much my world when I was ickle. I may have been born post-1973 but as a tot of the late '70s I remember when everything looked just as it does in LoM. *nostalgia*
I love the attention to detail the creators have put into this series; all the references, etc... and the jokes I'm old enough to get. Arf!
This fan-art is my little token of appreciation for Life on Mars. We need more telly like this... I'm so sick of a lot of the drivel that's been filling our screens in recent years; the obsession with celebrity over talent. It's even held things like the new Doctor Who back IMO (*insert current trendy celeb name into Christmas special* - it's gonna age so badly
), but I'll cut my grumpy old woman rant short for now. 
With shows like Life on Mars and Heroes (yes, I love that show too!
) there is hope!!

Wow, I really love the chibifying of them. They all have their own personalities and their expressions really resemble the real life actors. Annie looks a little too anime IMO, but otherwise I can't find fault with any of it.

I hate it when ABC ruins a perfectly good series. Everything was going along so well...I'm afraid to see the end.

Yeah... I'm trying to enjoy the quality while we still have it, before they give the hour to a playboy bunny or a show that has people fall off cliffs (so trying to not get angry!!!)
I've also been re-engrossing in episodes of the Invisible Man, they had two seasons and 45 episodes (walks away from computer and screams at ABC) and it's so funny how the flow of that show is so similar to Burn Notice. My only hope is that when good writers are given a chance, good stories reappear though not a direct translation.

It looks like my type of show. I love Leverage and think it is a really enjoyable show (it's getting mixed reviews).
