Thanks I've always rather liked that orange-grey contrast too and I loved having the perfect light to emphasize it. I did have some trouble containing my annoyance at that point though. This was shot on a sort of mini-island enclosure, where you were allowed to walk among the animals, which is great for photos of course because of the lack of bars, but there were a lot of children really annoying the animals trying to pick them up and pet them or even pull their tails!, which was obviously NOT allowed. Now I don't blame the children of course, they just see something cute and fluffy and it's natural for them to want to try and pet the animals, but I HATED those parents who were actually encouraging their kids' behaviour in order to get fun photos for instagram, instead of explaining to them they were scaring the animals and should keep a little distance if the animals look stressed out. They're adults and should know better. I was very close to getting angry, but chose the in between option of explaining very loudly to my husband how ring-tailed lemurs pee on their tails and wave them at their opponents in a sort of stink-battle for dominance. This led at least some of the moms to reconsider the tail pulling by their kids, and the best part of it is, it's actually a true fact too
