Thank you for your kind comments! It's most appreciated!

It took me about 20mins to write it out on plain paper (with a line guide! lol!) but I did tidy it up a little on the pc (i.e. removing a couple of smudges etc.)

I'm branching out into Engraving Glasses etc with the tengwar so will post some pics when I've done a few. Hopefully I should be able to make a little spare change out of it! (If I can do it as neat as this on glass! lol!)

I've just had a couple of hours practicing on a couple of glasses, and your right, it does look kinda cool! hehe! But, unfortunately, I made the mistake of getting in touch with the Tolkien Estate to see if I was able to sell them legally (like the honest kinda person I am!!!) and I got a resounding NO!!! So much so that they just ignored my second e-mail which was just asking them to clarify if it was the language or the tengwar script that's copyrighted! (I gather from the initial e-mail that it's both, but still, they could have at least responded!)

Will still do some Elvish ones (for myself and a few friends) and post the pics on here!

Sorry about the length, I needed to Vent! lol!

Really? That is so strange - I really wonder which it is. Or maybe it's the text - are you using material from his books? Either way, that sucks, I'm sorry. (And ignoring your email is just flat out unprofessional, especially since you were courteous enough to contact them in the first place!)

I think that it's everything that tolkien wrote/created thats protected by copyright to be honest! Grrr! She's still not got back to me!!! Had an idea tho, If I engrave a glass with the tengwar and only charge P&P (but ask for a "donation" instead!) that should be fine!!!

Gonna get a little more practice in before I do anything tho! hehe!
