The pattern on it is beautiful. Ceremonial sword rather than useful sword then? (though it still looks like you could make short work of someone with it if you needed to XD) seems a pity to dirty such a pretty blade ;D

Wonderful details, and nice work overall, though the wall in the background is pretty blurry and you can see the seams of the texture. Also I feel like the bump map is too strong, the crevices in the background don't really fit with the smoothness of the sword.

Thanks. Yup the wall is crap. The idea was that the sword is hanging on a castle wall, so me being lazy and wanting just to post the project,
i just took the wall form an older project, it is a bit more crappy then its suppose to be, but its passable if you squint a bit.
I was in PS doing the color correcting... looked at the seams thought about fixing em and then forgot.
