What happen in the RP was that Jack jumped in to an big stream of water to save the girl (The one to the right in the first picture.)
He manages to throw her to land but got pulled longer down the stream and got heavily beaten of various things in the water.
Then he luckily managed to get in to an and still part of the river so he started to crawl up to land until his powers where out.

But he got medical assistance so he is ok after that.
