All the info on how and when I shot it is in there. It did help that is was overcast so I didn't have the brightness of the sunset screwing w/ my metering. I also used a fill flash. Notice the right side of the shot, its more detail while the left is blurred. That is called by the motion. On the right side the flash froze the action, on the flash the flash burst was done so hence the motion blur.

Yes, you can see the duration of the flash on the right side of the arc. It completing illuminating by the time she completed the flip. Notice its blurry on the left.

We tried a reshoot in better light over a year later but it didnt work. Her hair had grown so much she couldnt flip it anymore........lol
