For me that's true but it also depends on if I see the movie first or read the book first. Like Divergent, I saw the movie first and now I just can't get into the book. I've tried. Five times. Hunger Games, read it first, liked the movies but annoyed certain subplots were changed.

Oooh, yeah. The Hunger Games books were my life way back when, so I'll always loved thse books. The movies, especially Catching Fire, I think, were great adaptations even if they did leave out some good scenes and characters.Although, I actually preferred the Mockingjay movie over the book, which I think is the only time that's happened, but I couldn't get into the book as much.Β

I haven't seen the Mockingjay movie yet, waiting for closer to part 2 to come out so I can see them closer together. But I'm hoping it'll be good. I did actually like Mockingjay, Catching Fire was the one I had problems with. I kept winding up a sobbing puddle of tears every time I picked it up.

haha oh man, I get that. Catching Fire was my favorite but it left me a mess every time!

I finished it with tears in my eyes... Then I bought Mockingjay the next day and plowed right through. Hah... Catching Fire was the only one that took me a solid week to finish.

Oh man, I finished Catching Fire in a few days (and they were a terrible few days, so emotional haha) but yeah after that I had to wait the year until Mockingjay came out and that was horrible because I'm so impatient lol

I got into the Hunger Games right when the first movie was about to come out. Just curious about it, the book was five bucks on Kindle, so I got it and lost a whole night's sleep! I tried to do the same with Catching Fire but my feels were played with... Mockingjay another all nighter and it was a HARD one.

Oh, that's cool! I got into it not long after the first book came out because a lot of people kept recommending it to me but it didn't seem like something I'd really like, but I eventually caved and immediately fell in love with it!Β

I was totally against it at first but the trailers made it look so interesting...I wound up in total love.
