Oh my...
This took me the longest time!!
It's a gift for my little sis' new house
She asked me to draw her something..and since we're both huge fans of Johnny Depp (and Jack of course
) here you are..the Captain!!! 
I've wanted to draw him for so long..but it always seemed too hard for me.. I'm really happy I finally did it!
Please let me know what you think about this!!

Well let me tell you what I am looking for and you can decide if you would like to to do it or not. I would love to have another Avatar/Jake Sully picture done. I am still looking at what I would like at the moment since I have a few more drawings already and I want a variety of different looks of him. To be honest I have never really done a commission as some people have different way of doing them. LOL

Yes, everyone seems to do it differently!
For example I read that many people who take commissions send to the "commissioner" a high resolution scan of the drawing so he/she can print it the way he/she prefers. On the other hand there are people who send the original drawing.

I usually like the originally drawing for sure. Totally my preference though. It means more to me having the original by far.

I'd be very interested! My first "expo" just ended today..it was the first time I showed my portrait somewhere other than the web. I was so scared!!!
But it went very well and I received commissions too!
I talked about the prices with the people who asked me to draw, since I absolutely didn't know how much to ask for them.
I usually draw in A4 size (21x29.7cm) and we agreed on 50โฌ for a portrait, since it takes me around 15-20 hours to finish it, it depends on how much complicate the subject is.
What do you think? Does it seem fair to you? If you like another size..just let me know!

I think I might like the drawing a little bit larger than what you listed if that might be possible. Now do you do just black n white or can you do color too? No real preference really but thought I would ask.
I am guessing the price you listed above is in Euro's correct? Just want to make sure the is the correct currency you use.

Yes, of course it's possible! I usually don't draw too big because it takes longer 
And I only draw in black&white. I've always wanted to try with coloured pencils but I never really had the time to experiment..so..just b&w for now.
For the price yes! It's in Euro! Sorry! I'm italian and I'm not used to think in dollars

Yes, definitely I can do it! The size of the paper I've got is 29.7x42cm, that's actually an A3 size, exactly double than the A4 I mentioned before. The converter says that 12x16 inches is about 31x41 in centimeters. So the size is pretty similar. Is it ok for you?

For the price, since the size is double and the work will also double, I'd say double price. So 100 Euro. But since you're the first foreign commissioner and also the first who asked me a big portrait, I'll offer you the shipping!
