Small illustrations of my fluffy boi Wángzǐ and his main appearances in the series. I just wanted to show where he would show up.

1) I was thinking that MK practically meets Wángzǐ with his dad in episode 9. However, a little later. Just as the boy and Macaque's training is going well, Wángzǐ suddenly appears. He is not happy with the presence of a human (he considers him an intruder) until everything is cleared up by Macaque. As I mentioned once, MK initially mistakes them for twin brothers (for obvious reasons). Later, young monkey helps his dad fight Sun Wukong.

2) A difficult conversation between Macaque and his son. Warrior here explains to his son that he is going away for a while, and he is to stay in a safe place and wait for him. Wángzǐ does not understand this decision. They've always been together and never parted, and now he has to part with the only person he has. He is afraid of loneliness and feels that his father avoids some topics in their conversation. In fact, Macaque wants to protect his child. Prior to this conversation, he had a close encounter with Lady Bone Demon and would not want his son's existence revealed to this ice witch...

3) I was thinking later where to put Wángzǐ in later episodes. I re-watched season 3 and decided to put it in the episode "Amniesia Rules". He accidentally meets Pigsy and Tang (he decided to follow in Mac's dad's footsteps) and stumbled upon the strangely behaving Sun Wukong. He was really shocked when the monkey who fought his father is so kind and friendly to him and calls him Liu Er Mihou! He hated when he hugged him. Reluctantly, he helps save Tang from the Scorpion Queen and then leaves to find Macaque.
