I finally watched the whole season 4 in English! A whole month of waiting for the translation but how it paid off and I'm happy! 🤩

This season is amazing and caused me so many emotions that it was a shock! That's why here are some drawings that present what touched me and gave in to me. Of course, I liked everything, but I captured the conclusions that were important to me. 🤗

1) - Relax bud! When this is over, we'll be back here basking in the sun getting fat on fruits for the rest of... well, forever! Like you always wanted.

- Whatever you say, Wukong.

Wukong and Macaque's relationship in the past is something that broke me as hell and made me cry. Looking at it, I couldn't think of anything but a pair of close friends pursuing their dreams together. Macaque seemed to me slightly in love with Monkey King, which I even love. I just want them to get back together and talk about their pains together. And this season has kind of shown me that probably Wukong did NOT kill Macaque. But I'll wait for the special. And Macaque's new voice actor is great! We miss you so much, Billy. T^T

2) MK can't have a moment of peace and continues to get traumatized which is slowly destroying him inside. The scene with his ink version is scary and amazing at the same time. I had shivers. O-O

3) I love the design of MK as monkey! He's so great! So the fans theories proved to be true again. Nothing new at all. 🤔 Anyway, I haven't drawn Mei and MK together yet, which is a pity because it's the best male-female friendship I've ever seen. I'm not going to ship them; I won't because their bond is too precious. I love how caring and helpful they are towards each other. Mei will definitely support her best friend after all he has discovered.

4) - I just want what we used to have...

The new villains captivated me. Azure Lion the most. His past and relationship with Wukong is both beautiful and tragic. He only wanted peace and justice for himself and his brothers, but plans always have to be interrupted when he least expects it. I don't quite believe him with his story in episode 8, but I understand why he makes such a risky decision. He thinks he's right and that's why he does what he thinks is right. And I like that after all this, he still cares for Sun Wukong and has a breakdown when he sees that he's probably trapped in the scroll forever. After all, they are brothers.
