Notes for those that don't see the LULZ:
For those that don't know about Mudkips:
A long time ago, on the internet, somebody said, "so i herd u liek mudkips"
It was somewhat funny. It got picked out to become a meme. It became massively funny through all the hype...and became a legendary internet joke.
For those that don't know about Joe the Plumber:
Joe is a guy that Obama spoke to for 5 minutes about taxes, and McCain made him a primary figurehead in the third debate. It might have been an effective tactic if Joe hadn't been mentioned 23 times by both candidates throughout the debate.
Also, near the end of the debate, McCain accidentally called Obama, "Senator Government." He corrected himself immediately afterward.

That's funny too. Thing is, that wasn't on one of the nationally televised debates, so nobody cares. If it had been, there'd be jokes about that too.

Funny how during the debate a friend of mine called me saying "Look McCain is saying my name on TV" Well technically his name is Joel and he is a plumber and a carpenter, but people call him Joe Lmao. How ironic..

i'm in middle school and i don't really pay attention to the debates, but i finally watched the last debate for obama and mccain (because of our new hd tv, haha) and practically the only thing mccain said was "joetheplumberjoetheplumberjoetheplumberjoetheplumber"

Well... He was using him as a metaphor for "working class americans who want to start a business", since that was the guy's question.
Since the debate, there has been an inquiry into his personal life, and he's actually had people go to his house and protest and stuff. It's kinda stupid.
It's all the media though. I do, also, think that he kinda overused the metaphor.
"Oh no! Look, up there on the roof! it's SENATOR GOVERNMENT!"
"YES, it is I! Senator Government is here to save you, with his... laws or something"

The media's the one that can't let him go. Why? Because he called Lord Obama on his horrible tax plans. (All income tax started out unconstitutional anyway.) They're trying to dig up any dirt they can on him, like the fact that Joesph's his MIDDLE name! DUN-DUN-DUN! He's not yet a licensced plumber! DUN-DUN-DUN!
