Yes, I'm throwing a contest.This is a picture of a crazy southern Baptist preacher. Y'know, the kind that yells out about how we're all sinners and that we should repent. About 4-5 of those appear on campus every Tuesday afternoon. They wear signs and yell at us. Students often gather to argue with them or just be amused by their BS.
At any rate...their signs often have scriptural passages, or little phrases about coming damnation, etc.
I remember, one sign once said, "Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve." Asswhole.
Anyway...the signs are always stupid, and often funny.
I'd like to see people come up with things they can immagine finding on this preacher's sign. I'd also like to see this picture colored. But the main thing I'm judging on is how funny/creative/fesible the sign text is.
The prize: A free print, whatever pic you want...OR a 3 month subscription. And the "glory" of having won. Yup.

I'm very pro gay, but I still laugh at the 'Adam and Steve' thing.
I believe it was Robbin Willians who did a stand up joke on that line, "Yes, it does say 'Adam and Steve', that's what you get for reading the translation"
Sorry, but I had to comment on that, it was the first thing I thought of when I read the translation.

Damn them and their homophobia. I'm bi, dammit, and I know that - I'm not confused nor am I a slut, I'm just equal opportunity! So there. So what if I'm in a polygamous relationship with a man and his wife? Nobody is hurt by it, and we're all very happy in the relationship we have. They have no right to judge me, or anyone else. God/Spirit/whoever will hopefully look at what kind of person I am instead of whether I was churchgoing and told everyone else that I was better than them because I'm christian. Sheesh. Practice some tolerance.

I think I'll try and put something together for this... I'm...a Christian, kind of, not sure at the moment, because it seems to me Christians are usually hypocrits, or annoying, or judging, or annoying, or hateful, or annoying, or...did I mention annoying? Yeah, well even if I am still a Christian people who go around FORCING people to believe their faith and making idiots out of themselves annoy me so if I can think of something I think I'll enter...

XD I should enter... but I'm too lazy. There's this guy in my town who has this old, broken down truck on the side of the road with a sign on it that says "JESUS DIED FOR OUR SINS". I crack up laughing everytime we drive by. Good to see another person who is pissed off by this sh1t ^^

Not entirely amused. Makes it much harder for us who are really tryin' to get the Gospel message out there... what some of these street preachers do... heck, I spoke to this guy that comes on campus sometimes and he doesn't really leave much room to listen.
Me and my student Christian group have to get out on the streets and let people know that we're not all like this. I've been thanked a couple times for discussing and sharing it with love instead of just condemning people off the bat. Not my place to do so but simply to tell ^^

I'm not sure what to say, em I offended? Well, if thats your way of saying it, or expressing it, then it's upto you. Sure it can be annoying if someone trys to force you into something. Thats nor really how it works, its all about you and what you want. As you might see on my dev, I'm a Christian, imo I don't find that rather amusing.

I was raised Catholic, and most of my friends are Catholic. I have a number of Baptist friends, too. None of them like the guys that start yelling at us on the way to class, though. =/

heh, my pastor is from texas (we're in Maryland) but he's not (completely) crazy. he has his odd spots, but that's only when he goes into Hulk mode and destroys half the congregation. lol, jk.
