I really have some much needed practice to do if I want to get back
into the rhythm of drawing characters!

This one is an experimental, very messy-painterly portrait of Vearyn 's
beautiful character Sihu! I wanted to draw her for a long time, and was very
happy to finally try something out like this with her I tried to work
more efficiently, focusing more of the detail where most attention is meant
to be. With previous portraits, I've found that I have a problem with detailing
too much (mainly, the neck area and space around canine's eyes), taking away
from the focus I wish to place- the illustration becomes more flat.

In the coming days I hope to practice more with composition, colours, etc.
For the most part, a lot of things xD While I do still want to continue with the
surreal ideas I usually do, I really need to experiment more with more dynamic
scenes and better shapes. We'll see how things go!~
