My dog Shiela died this morning. My dad wrote me an email because she was living with him and I live 400 km away from him. I wish I woulde have had the chance to see her one last time to say good bye. That would've been next week but she hadn't had the strength anymore. She was about 14 years old and had water and lots of adenoids in her body. Since her health situation got worse over the last week she was put to sleep by the vet at 11 AM.She had a wonderful and long life and she hadn't had to suffer because she had no pain.
May she rest in peace. One day we all meet again.

oh i am so sorry! my dog was around 14 when she died too last year. she died at home and i had no idea till my mom came and told me! i had thought she was just sleeping soundly!*sniffles* i am sorry.

I lost a dog to cancer about 7 years ago (she was 12 years old), so I know exactly how you feel

Awww, that's sad. My rabbit died when I was even farther away. I was in Mexico and she was in Australia. It made it really hard. Especially as I was in a remote location and couldn't call. Best I could do was e-mail.

I am so sorry t hear about your lost friend, and i have no doubt that she was a wonderful companion and lucky to live so long. I lost my dog too this year, so I know that we will all be reunited with our furry friends some day.

I am sorry to hear about your loss. I've felt the sharp pain of losing a pet. My cat had to be put down 5-6 years ago when I was 10 years old. Horrible experience that I won't forget.
Very very pretty. Love the color scheme, and the eyes and the fur have to be my favorite parts to this.
One suggestion: I'd like to see this in a border of some sort. Even a simple one.

Ooh I'm so sorry for your loss... I know how it's like to loose a pet. Our cat lived to be 21 before I found her. She'd waited for all of us to get home before she passed. Animals are a wonderful part of our lives. Beautiful artwork to honor her as well.
