Original sketch for my tattoo although it was slightly modified when I had it done. Decided the wings needed to be a little broader to bring it across my shoulders....still think the tat come out really well, beyond expectationsRelated content

I would like permission to modify this design somewhat and use it for a living room "painting," and would love to give you credit for the original design. Would this be ok?

I came across your design while I was looking for a logo for my University's hip hop dance crew. I searched "phoenix", seeing as we are Ph03nix Dance Crew (PXDC), your logo came up in the search results and I was shocked to find the letters P, X, D and C hidden in your drawing!!! Can you see them!? I was wondering If you would let us use your design for our logo?? To put on our sweaters and t-shirts and stuff? It just seemed so ironic that our crew's initials were in your sketch! Anyways, let me know, thanks so much, your design is awesome!

Never really thought about it before but now that you mention it you can actually see it. As always I'm always more than pleased if someone wants to use my designs, all I ask is that you credit and show me an image of the finished work. Really chuffed that someone would want to put it on t-shirts and sweaters, feels like I'm leaving my mark on the world. Feel free to use and let me see the crew in their shirts.

I always appreciate it when someone asks before they go ahead and get it done. I don't put any restrictions on anyone using any of my stuff except one? You need to share a picture of it when you get it done, that's it, one picture.

I don't mind people using any of my ideas to be honest as long as they ask first and they post a pic of the tattoo. That's the only condition I apply and to be fair, I find it flattering that someone would want to use my idea never mind get it actually tattooed? Idon't have a sketch of the revised idea, only a photo of the finished tattoo [link]

Hello. Not quite sure where to start. I too used this design before asking. It hadn't crossed my mind until after I had it done. I won't lie, I panicked quite a bit at the thought of having used someone's own idea without even asking. After looking into it I found this site was more than relieved to have found how open you were with your work, which made me appreciate it that much more. This is an absolutely gorgeous piece and it makes my day every time I look at in the mirror. I would be happy to share it with you, unfortunately I only signed on this website to write this to you so I'm not quite sure how. Lol.

It's not a problem honestly, i never put any restrictions on the use of my own designs and I only ask that anyone using one (or a variation of one) posts a picture of the finished tattoo? All you need to do is click on the submit button at the top and post your picture of the finished work. I'd really love to see how yours turned out? My tattoo actually varied slightly from the original design (the wings are slightly broader as I got it down my back and the original made it look a little too narrow). When you post and want to credit where you got the inspiration simply copy and paste the link to the original work.

This is a really amazing design. I wanted to thank you so much for it, because I also did it on my back. I am sorry I did not ask in advance, but I really loved and think that it bonded compleately with my personality. I only cut the long tail of the phoenex and did the body.

Thanx v.much the design is based on an original idea by My-World-Order(Immortality XIX)and modified once by me (this drawing) and then the final tattoo (see my gallery) by the tattoo artist. Really stoked by finished work and moved you liked it!
