Compared with my projects now, it is quite a little one, but I guess it depends what you are used to do. My last big one took me 3 months...still can't believe it is finished

Finished pouch is imressive! I like this pattern and especially how bottom looks. Great work!

Can I ask how long you worked on it?

Thank you! I don't quite remember for this one, but I made a similar one later in rainbow colours, which took me about 10 evenings, I usually started working on it at about 7 pm and stopped at about 1 am. Does this help?

I can't wait to make this! But I think I need some more practice first. What type of cord is used and can you use different types like wax polyester(Lunihista)?

I used thicker cotton threat for knitting and crochet, you could try other materials too.

wooow, this is amazing! i assume this technique you are using is somehow similiar to carpet weaving?
i only ever knew how to make thos friendship bracelets, but theyΒ΄re childs play compared to this wonderful pouch

the tutorial looks thoroughly well done and i guess iΒ΄ll some day figure out just how very good it is, when iΒ΄ll try to make such a piece myself!
looking forward to it

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

nimuae In reply to rhs1024 [2012-12-11 18:10:32 +0000 UTC]

It's like when you crochet chain stitchs with your fingers

This is a beautiful! I have never made anything like this, is there a place I could get instruction on the weaving? I have nerver tried macrame so I don't know anything about weaving. Also is the body crochet? I am really impressed
