TV is often full of many useless and even trash programs which in some way hypnotize us, and we loose part of our precious time in watching them anyway...This is what this painting suggests me

I love the melancholy feel, as if the more potential choice out there in TV land, the more pointless it feels?
And of course, watching in the dark is NOT wise!

I really like your concept! Why did you choose to make it black and white? You know no colors?

Hi there!
You know that blizzard on your tv screen when there's no channel available? It is: black & white. So... it would've been neither very beneficial for the composition nor for the atmosphere which is meant to be cold and uncomfortable to make the rest of the thing colored.
I originally chose 'Disconnected' as a title - as I painted it in order to come to terms with a very depressive phase of mine which is not too long ago.
