thats interesting,my favourite part of childhood games was getting killed and pretending to be dead, would lie there for ages, sign of things to come..

I absolutely love the viewpoint. It's so voyeuristic.

The light in this is great, the shadows cast from the chairs and window light, as if a car has just diven by and you caught the exact time the light came in. A bit depressing but also funny. Ausgezeichnet!

LOL. This is warped, yet elegant. I like it. I've never heard of the "pretending-to-be-dead-reflex" but it feels appropriate.

Actually...a possum (opossum) isn't a rodent, but a marsupial (like a kangaroo), as it has a pouch in which it carries its babies. Just thought I'd point that out... (They do look like giant rats though, we get them on our porch at night.)

That aside, I love the lighting and shadows as well as the unusual point of view (from above looking down); very realistic.

Is cool. ^^
Aber, wie gesagt, sehr tolles Bild eigentlich!

oh ja- ich seh was du meinst.

Keep feeding that imagination!

John.

Seems to come directly from a story by Kafka! Is brilliant!

oh yeah, I was almost seduced to paint a bug in there (at the very beginning)- however I didn't want it to be connected to 'The Metamorphosis'. It's my story, not Gregor Samsa's, and fortunately I survived it.

More than the representation of the animal in bed ( yep the metamorphosis), is the anguishing vision of "daily trapped" combined with the dark tones of the work, and the beautiful aerial perspective that remind me gothic-surreal atmosphere typical of Kafka or Poe's works...

I absolutely love this. Amazing shading and an interesting point of view. The possum in the bed is brilliant. Awesome job!
