aww, thank you! well, it's been years now since I played with Apophysis but I remember that it took me quite a while to get into it. You really have to take time to realize what actually happens when you change a parameter. But it's not like I knew exactly what will happen. Mostly, it was playing around and having fun with it

beautiful!
fractal art has always been somewhat of a mystery to me.. would it be too complicated to ask how it's done? The colours and swirls remind me of ink or paint when it first hits the water and the white disks look like coffee cups on saucers - but then I guess I would think that since I often paint with what's left of my coffee..

Ninina-nini In reply to bonzaialsatian [2007-07-20 17:31:52 +0000 UTC]

hihi... it's not at all complicated but you do need special programs to do it... and of course... get to know them
I used Apophysis which took me a while to at least begin to understand how it works... but it's a great program and they are constantly making it better (although I gave up on fractals quite a while ago)

And thank you for the fav

This is very beautiful; it makes me think of the swirling colours you get when your pour blackcurrant juice into a glass of water! But do you know, I have know idea what fractal art is! How do you go about making them?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Ninina-nini In reply to Lilaims [2006-02-04 15:45:24 +0000 UTC]

Hello, thank you for the comment
Making fractals is allways about the program that draws them. I use Apophysis (there is a nice group here for this particular program just check my signature) and I go from there. If you'll try it you'll know what I mean. But be prepared to put a lot of time into one and that sometimes, you don't come up with anything for months So it's really awarding when you get one that you like

DansGoingCrazy [2005-12-25 00:09:56 +0000 UTC]

it so looks like a painting or somthing, maybe a drawing, not a fractal. so i love it. the white backgrounds are always a winner to me
