Description This was an experiment in painting quickly and doing it all digitally. Usually I would draw on paper, scan it in and then color over top. Not so with this. The more painterly look I was able to achieve worked out to my liking.

Thanks! It's nice to hear a compliment from an awesome artist. I checked out your site and you have some really nice stuff over there. I see you do a lot of sequentials. That's something I should actually do more of. I do have lots of comic projects laying around and maybe I should just sit down and get some of them done.

Thanks man. I was actually inspired by this guy bigpigink.blogspot.com/ He had a live demonstration on how he does digital painting but I believe the video is gone. Some things I already knew but I picked up a few other new techniques. I also have a version of this very same image that was a little less refined and it was all in black and white. In some ways, I like that one a little better.
