Inspired by a conversation I had with my fellow Saskatchewanian, ~STARLIGHT39 I quote myself, the British Columbian:"I can't live anywhere without having mountains blocking my view of the outside world"
(It's true, even in Vancouver. To the north are mountains. To the east are mountains. The south looks clear but if you look closely, there are mountains in the distance. And to the west is open water... and the mountains of Vancouver Island. What a wonderful world.

As a Saskatchewanian, I feel most at peace with all of the space out at my Grandpa's farm. Plus sunsets and sunrises are cool (I see both a lot because sleep is for the weak).

I was born in Saskatchewan, and I've lived in BC for a long time now, so when I go back home to visit family, it's like I'm a tourist. xP The sunsets in Saskatchewan are so bright! There are no mountains to block the light! Dx

I lived in Lillooet, where at least 75% of sky is replaced with mountains.
As a British columbianer, I live in fear of Saskatchewan.
I'm horribly afraid of moving to Saskatoon in the future, so I can attend the Schools there...

Yes not having mountains blocking your view of the outside world is terrifying (grew up in a valley). Also I guess Alberta is a good in between (mind you I've never been to Saskatchewan and I have that, scared because there are no mountains blocking my view everywhere but like Jasper and stuff, in Alberta)

You know what? I think we rely on those mountains too much... We were even taught in school that "north" is where the mountains are. I feel kinda lost when I go to other cities, lol...
