I apologize to any Gin fangirls who see this poster. xD(Spoilers)
Seriously, after Gin rebels against Aizen, and he's laying on the ground, bleeding, while Ichigo, who's apparently the only character allowed to be competent, appears to save everyone, he FINALLY opens his eyes--and that's all that really stood out to me in that entire chapter. All I could think about was GIN HAS EYES ZOMG--until Ichigo started kicking Aizen's ass. Then I was interested again. Dammit, Kubo, you magnificent bastard, I'm still a fan of your work no matter how slow it is.

Well, honestly, I'm still a One Piece fan despite it having so many chapters, because the pacing is better there. But with Bleach...the fights drag on forever, especially the one with Aizen. But somehow I'm still interested. Maybe that's the whole "badass swordfights" excuse.

I've never read One Piece. I kind of want to, but then again I'm on volume 5 of Bleach. bahaha.
I've watched most of the anime though (and even cosplayed Ururu at Afest this weekend) and I really like it. Maybe it's the hype? Maybe it's the fanbase? I have no idea. But I do know I love Kubo's art style, and he inspires me a lot. I use his character poses in action scenes for pose references for some of my sketches. I just love his style ;__;
Speaking of manga, I'm currently hooked on Geijutsuka Art Design Class. I know. I'm horribly moe and I can't help it.
