My guinea pig looks nothing like that but she does LOVE carrots! I give her an apple, she takes a few bites then whines until I give her a carrot. It is sooooo funny!

Mine does something similar: he'll start rattling the cage, so I'll give him some lettuce. He looks at it like "what is this?", looks up at me, then starts rattling the cage again. Smart pig.
