Description
Metropolis has come under threat from a new villain, a nameless Mad Scientist. He sent a letter to the Daily Planet... actually, to all the newspapers and TV News stations in the city... warning them that he will use his device to destroy the city if a ransom isn't paid. The city officials of course refuse to pay, as does Lex Luthor. Reporter Lois Lane is put on this story with Clark Kent, who is still new to the Planet. Lois has an idea as to were the scientist could be hiding out, and goes there without telling anyone. There's an old tower outside the city where another mad scientist tried to destroy Metropolis back in 1941. His attempt was foiled and his device destroyed.
"Hi." Lois said when the door opened in front of her. "Lois Lane, Daily Planet. Do you mind if I ask some questions?"
"Of course. Please come in..." The man in the white coat said, opening the door and letting her inside.
