I drew the sketch of this in Dallas while I was bored in the hotel. I didn't have any of my other art stuff, so all I could do was sketch random things. Something I bought that day provoked me to draw this; the characters of a fictional world of mine (some of you may know of the Cult of Avo'Dromus, that being the world I'm referring to) as fairies.Top left to right: Me and Eryn

That's good. ^^ Feeling a connection to a specific creature of character makes you better at drawing them or writing about them. Which is why I'm such a damn bloodthirsty demon. XD

i like eryn(your dream girl right?) and the effects of the magic orb.
i also see you ahve your sword back..the came one as your newer elf weilds if i'm not mistaken.
i can't tell what that is supposed to be on the lower right hand fae's eye...but i think it's one of those jewlers scopes.
strange that only rya and kristen have foot-coverings, while you eryn and the blonde have bare feet. i would ahve expected a pattern of some sort, like your are barefooted, and jim's are wearing shoes.
the effects of your wings fluttering look very nice, but they seem to only be affecting the larger top half.
and if there is a mushroom, shouldn't there be grass of another few mushrooms int he back ground
hey you said you wanted to know what people really thought about your art, that's my true feelings on this peice.
all in all however, you are getting much better overall with character disign, and making action drawings. i hope to see more from you soon sammi-hime.

The sword's actually a different design from my elven one. The elven blade has a black handle and a jeweled pommel. Kristen is wearing a scope on her specs. Since she's always seen with goggles normally, I had to get her some sort of funny glasses here. As for the rhyme and reason to the shoes, Kristen got boots because she tends to wear the very practical body suits and such, while Rya got the pointy-toed shoes because they're pixies! Someone's gotta wear the silly little shoes.
The wings however, I never noticed until just now. Thanks. I know what happened, too. It's because of the way I did the flutter effect.
Not sure on the mushroom. I've seen 'em grow in both groups and on their own. *shrug*
And yeah, I'm glad to get that kinda feedback. I really do wanna know what people think.

yeah that is true about the mushrooms. they do on occasion grow by their lonesome.

that was filmed about 20 minutes from where i lived when i was in high school.
