Description
4 different versions of Megatron from Transformers. There's the original from G1 in front, Armada Megatron to the right, RiD Megatron above, and Beast Era Megatron as the big giant head from Beast Machines in the background.A very old painting from 2003. If I were to do this again it would look very different.

Has any Megatron besides Beast Megatron ever succeeded in taking over Cybertron? I mean, sure, he lost to a group of 4-7 techno-organics, but he was in complete control before that and had the upper hand for a large portion of the series, especially after going 'giant talking head mode' around the end. G1, I can't really say on, but I don't think he ever really came too close, and RiD was no where near actually controlling Cybertron, and Armada... was mostly on earth...

G1- Yes, at some point before the events of the 1986 movie, the Decepticons definitley took over Cybertron.
Armada- Don't remember if they ever said what state Cybertron was in before the Minicons awakened on Earth. Maybe the Deceptions could have had the upper hand?
Energon- For a couple of episodes towards the end, it seemed like Cybertron was in Megatron's grasp if I remember correctly. But that didn't last too long.
Cybertron- By the time it was all said and done, Megatron didn't care anymore. He was going to wipe the entire universe away. He was evil like that.

I have this strange idea that RiD Megatron and BW/BM Meggy are the same person. It was once said that Megatron was a commander in the Predacon army, and RiD Megatron fits the bill.

Well, if you buy the idea that Cybertron's black hole thing was a Crisis on Infinite Earths thing that altered histories... BW/BM and RiD could be different versions of the same universe. I seriously doubt it's what the writers had in mind, but it's fun to think about.

That is bloody brilliant, that is! A very nice pose you have given to each of them, even the "Big Giant Head" Megatron.
My one fault is with G1 Megatron's mouth. It looks like his teeth are slanted, or he has a massive canine.
Other than that, I like it.

Yeah, I don't know what I was thinking when I drew G1 Megatron's teeth. Oh well. It was a long time ago and there are other problems besides that.

Yeah, this is old artwork. I drew this when Armada was still brand new, and only just put up here on dA this year. Had I drawn something like this later, I for sure would have had Cybertron Megatron in there instead of Armada Megatron, because that is my favorite version of the character.
