Yayyy finally done with this [:I felt like doing some DerAng but since I'm really unoriginal I decided to re-make an old picture by completely changing everything about it and just keeping the concept.
I could've been happy with this iF IT WASN'T FOR DEREK'S STUPID ARM like seriously it's bugging me it looks unnatural I don't know how to fix it help.
Goddddddd I just noticed so many mistakes in the anatomy so I'm going to craWL INTO A HOLE AND CRY
Also please don't zoom it in because it looks pretty awful when it's close and it doesn't even have a lineart so everything is really messy heh :L

Aw. I like how Derek looks so concerned for Angie she is crying. Having arm around her to try and comfort her. It's so cute!
I think the arm just looks a bit long because he is sitting. I am not really good at anatomy, foreshortening or perspective, all I know that the elbow/middle meets about the waist length wise and the hand goes a bit past the thighs. Sorry, I am not really helpful.

Now that you're saying that, I'm sort of trying to analyze how his arm would look like if he was standing up instead. I guess that the elbow/middle does meet his waist, so it looks like the only is in the other part. Thanks anyways!

Ahhh this is nice! I think the anatomy looks quite good. Derek's arm does look a little awkward, which I think is because his upper arm needs more foreshortening? I'm rather awful at determining it, to be honest, but to me it does look like a foreshortening issue.
Still, the lighting is really good, and I love the way you color. This might sound a bit odd but I also like how you drew Angie's dress, maybe it's because I personally struggle a lot with clothing but it looks really natural and flowy and nice uwu

Sadly, I find it hard to get some inspiration to draw them these days. But in those little momments that feelings for them suddenly just jump right into me THE SAME THING HAPPENS AND YES IT REALLY DOES SUCK QAQ
